PASSPORT

You must have a valid passport to enter and exit Canada. Be sure to apply or renew your passport far in advance. Passport processing times vary based upon processing services requested and location ordered. Standard passport processing takes approximately 4-6 weeks, Expediate passport service takes approximately 2-3 weeks and Rush passport Expediating takes approximately 2 weeks or less. AIR

Aeroport International Pierre-Elliot-Trudeau de Montréal(airport code YUL) or Montréal-Trudeau Airport is located 20 kilometers and approximately 20 minutes from downtown Montréal & Le Centre Sheraton Montréal Hotel.

With over 12 million passengers per year, Montréal-Trudeau Airport contains:

  • 32 air carriers with more than 130 direct flights to destinations in Canada and the US and is Canada's gateway to Europe.
  • The airport has one terminal with three branches, one serving Canadians – Zone Domestique – a newly renovated section for US travelers – Zone Transfrontaliere USA - and one for International travelers – Zone Internationale.
  • L'Aerobus shuttle runs between the airport and downtown every 30 minutes with a stop at Berri Terminal, Montréal's main bus terminal.

Visitors needing information or directions, iIn the public arrivals hall, you will find a variety of useful services: an information counter, foreign exchange office, ATM machine, hotel reservation, as well as a café-bar, mini-market and flower shop.

As you leave the terminal, you will see the transportation services counter (747 Express bus, taxis and limousines, etc.). Car rental services are all situated in the same kiosk located outside the terminal on the ground floor of the multi-level parking area.

TRAIN

Amtrak travels to over 500 destinations in 46 states, giving you the best views North America has to offer. 

The Adirondack Line travels daily from New York City, through the lush wine country of the Hudson Valley, into Montréal. Heading north, you're scheduled to depart New York's Penn Station in the morning and arrive in Montreal in the evening. Convenient connecting trains at New York extend your reach to Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, DC.

SHUTTLES / TAXIS

The Montréal-Trudeau Airport airport offer plentiful taxi service to downtown and the hotel. You can get a taxi or limousine at the arrivals level near the central exit located in front of the cloakroom, where a dispatcher will assist you. Rates from range $17 - $40 from the airport. Rates vary based on travel time.
Note: Payment methods include Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards are accepted. Some drivers accept U.S. currency but provincial regulations require customers to pay in Canadian currency when paying in cash.
