Aarti Rao joined LiquidX in January 2016 and is responsible for on-boarding and managing the relationship of Corporate clients on the platform. Prior to LiquidX, Aarti worked at Barclays Bank for 11 years where she held a number of senior client coverage roles in the US, UK and India. During her time at Barclays, Aarti primarily focused on the Healthcare and Industrial sectors working with Investment Grade and High Yield Multinational Corporate clients. She specialized in cross border banking related to debt finance, trade finance, risk management, cash management and card services. Aarti holds a Bachelors of Commerce from the University of Pune, India, and a Masters in Finance and Management from the University of Essex, UK.
Adam Ludwin is the co-founder and CEO of Chain. Chain builds the cryptographic ledgers that underpin breakthrough financial products. Prior to Chain, Adam was an investor at RRE Ventures in New York. He began his career as a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group and IDEO. Adam holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. from UC Berkeley.
Alice Xu is Director of Treasury at Workday, Inc. She was hired to setup the Treasury function after the company went IPO in 2012. Currently she leads global treasury operations including Global Banking Relationship, Liquidity Management, FX Hedging, Capital Market and Insurance Risk Management. Prior to Workday, Alice spent 15+ years in various treasury roles at AMD, Cisco Systems Inc. & Mattson Technology Inc. Alice has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.
Amy joined BNP Paribas in 2015 as sales manager for international cash and liquidity management responsible for US-based large corporates. Before joining BNP Paribas, Amy held management roles in liquidity and global cash management at Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase and ABN AMRO/RBS, including running Global Transaction Services for ABN AMRO in Romania. Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette Indiana.
Anne Friberg joined The NeuGroup in 2006. Ms. Friberg oversees relationships, planning and research for the NeuGroups for European and LatAm regional treasury, and the two FX risk management groups. She also writes for The NeuGroup's flagship newsletter, iTreasurer. Prior to joining The NeuGroup, Ms. Friberg worked for several years in corporate planning, international treasury and investor relations Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri.
Anne Kohler currently leads the Transaction Banking Sales Team for the Technology, Media & Telecoms (TMT) sector at Standard Chartered Bank – San Francisco, where she partners with clients to build cash and trade financing solutions across the bank’s core footprint of Asia, Africa & the Middle East. She joined Standard Chartered - London in late 2014 covering multinational clients in Europe, and relocated to San Francisco in 2016 to further develop the banks profile with large US Tech companies. Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Anne spent 7 years with J.P. Morgan’s Treasury Services Sales team in Europe, covering US Subsidiaries of both the large Corporate as well as fast growing Commercial Banking clients. Before embarking on a sales career in banking, Anne held internal audit and regional corporate treasury roles with Motorola Inc in Schaumburg IL, and Motorola Ltd in the UK, where she was part of the regional treasury team responsible for cash management, investments, and the In-House Bank, across the EMEA region. Anne started her career as an IT Risk Consultant with Arthur Andersen LLP after attaining her Masters degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. She now lives in the SF Bay area with her husband and two young children.
Arun is the senior treasury manager at Agilent where he leads the foreign exchange and corporate finance functions. He has been with Agilent for last 15 years and has worked in variety of roles in accounting, collections, FP&A and credit before joining the treasury team in 2013. Arun is a CPA and has a master’s degree in business administration.
Catherine Portman is VP and Treasurer of Juniper Networks Inc. She has been with Juniper since November 2000 and is responsible for leading the global treasury organization across critical functions, including Cash & Investments, Capital Markets, Global Banking, Risk & Insurance, and Customer Finance.

Cathy has been involved with Treasury or Treasury related functions in a multi-national environment for 30+ years. She is currently the Assistant Treasurer and Director of Global Risk Management at Hitachi Vantara Corporation. She is responsible for Global Treasury Operations which includes Banking, FX Strategies, Cash and Liquidity Management, Debt, Investments, Insurance Risk Management and anything else Treasury needs to do to support the company’s continued growth throughout the world. Cathy joined Hitachi Vantara in 2014 after spending 25 years with Western Digital Corporation. Over her years at WD, Cathy held roles in Accounting, Finance, International Credit and Corporate Treasury. In her last 12 years at WD, Cathy ran Global Treasury as the company’s Assistant Treasurer. Cathy has a BS in Exercise Physiology from California State University Fullerton and earned her MBA in International Business from National University. Cathy has held her CTP certification (formerly CCM) since 1998.
Christian Bauwens joined Flextronics in May 2012 as Corporate Treasurer. Prior to Joining Flextronics, Mr. Bauwens served as the Chief Financial Officer of Estrella International Energy Services from August 2010 to April, 2012 Earlier in his career, Mr. Bauwens worked at General Motors for about 15 years in Finance roles of increasing responsibilities, including Treasury Manager for Asia Pacific, Director Capital Market Risk Management for Europe, Director of Overseas Finance and Capital Planning, Treasurer for GM do Brazil, and finally Chief Financial Officer for General Motors Argentina including responsibilities for Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Paraguay and Bolivia. He later moved to Nissan where he served as Treasurer for Nissan Motor North America and Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. Mr. Bauwens holds a Bachelor in Economics, a Degree in Political Science & International Relations and a Master of Arts in Economics and Finance, all from the Universite Catholique de Louvain, Belgium.
Christopher Van Woeart is Head of Treasury at Stripe, the innovative technology platform at the forefront of expanding internet commerce. Before joining Stripe in 2016, he was Head of Platform Balance at peer-to- peer lending company Lending Club. Prior to that, he spent many years at Goldman Sachs, including five years as Vice President, Corporate Treasury, where he was responsible for firm-wide liquidity management, liquidity stress testing, regulatory relations and compliance, and prime brokerage risk management.
Dane is the Treasurer of Eventbrite, Inc- the worlds largest event technology platform. He is responsible for directing the firm's banking, risk, and cash initiatives (to name a few), as the firm continues to expand across the globe. With over 13 years of experience in Finance, he joins Eventbrite after 4 1/2 years managing risk initiatives for Google's (Alphabet's) treasury organization. Prior to Google, Dane spent 7 years at AIG Global Investment Group and 3 years at Berkshire Hathaway in several Investment Accounting, Risk, and Treasury management- related roles. With the majority of his career dedicated to accounting, debt strategy, risk management practices, he focuses on a leadership approach to facilitate growth by protecting the balance sheet, optimizing investments, and partnering with the business to strategize treasury operations around its goals. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Dane received his B.B.A and MBA from Hofstra University and received his CPA designation during his career as an investment accountant. During his spare time he enjoys cycling, reading, and traveling- and dreams of one day enjoying a slice of pizza from New York City atop Mount Kilimanjaro (keyword: "dreams").
Guy Simons is VP Treasury Americas for the ZF Group, a 35 bill. EUR technology supplier to the global automotive industry with 137,000 employees in 230 locations in 40 countries. He has overseen risk management and global treasury operations and systems at ZF, TRW Automotive, Engelhard and Statoil.
Havell Rodrigues is the CEO and co-Founder of Adjoint. The Boston and London, based developer of smart contracts leverages distributed ledger technology for the financial services industry, with a specific application being piloted for Global Treasury Management. Havell previously spent eight years at a hedge fund managing fund-of-fund investments and structured products. Earlier, he served as CFO and Board Member of Greenbean Recycle, a payments company acquired by TOMRA Systems. He holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Babson College and a BS in Statistics from the University of Mumbai.
Ivan Troufanov is VP & Treasurer at Medidata, global SaaS technology company that specializes in developing and marketing a cloud-based platform of applications and data analytics to address operations throughout clinical trials. In this position, he oversees Treasury function including corporate finance, investment management, foreign exchange risk management, Treasury operations and insurance. Prior to joining Medidata, Mr. Troufanov held several leadership Treasury positions responsible for financial risk management, cash management, project financing and other treasury related activities at other various high growth companies including NetSuite, BioMarin, salesforce.com, AMB Property Corporation (currently Prologis) and Gilead Sciences. Mr. Troufanov received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University.
Jonathan is CEO & Founder at HACERA. He has an impressive delivery track record. Over the last 4 years Jonathan worked with several blockchain technology stacks. Started with Bitcoin, then worked on an innovative Bitcoin exchange (a start-up, with the mission to add smart contracts on top of Bitcoin’s blockchain before Ethereum was launched), then worked on Ethereum (helped to build the first Ethereum class with Prof. Dan Boneh, at Stanford University). Jonathan is one of the early contributors to Hyperledger, he was nominated to become the first independent maintainer of Hyperledger Fabric back in July 2016 and was one of the two official release manager of Hyperledger Fabric 1.0 in July 2017. Hyperledger is now the world’s first enterprise grade, production ready blockchain stack. Jonathan brings a unique combination of the technical breadth, depth, experience not just technically, but also an experience that is combined with a deep understanding of the market forces, the various regulatory and business environments, combining a very hands-on background in cryptography and almost a decade of working in the financial sector (Standard & Poor’s, Barclays Capital and Goldman Sachs trading desks – working on global quantitative risk management systems).
Joseph is Global Director at the Economist Intelligence Unit, responsible for the commercial and editorial success of the EIU’s research business. Prior to this appointment, he was the Director of Global Forecasting, providing intellectual leadership for the EIU's global economic analysis and forecasting.
Joseph is an influential voice, providing insight and analysis on the political, economic and business environments to corporations, policymakers and private clients. He is a frequent speaker at client events, international conferences and roundtables and is regularly interviewed by major television and print media. Although based in New York, he travels regularly, spending much of his time with clients in Asia, Europe and Africa.
Before joining the EIU, Joseph was an economic adviser to the Tanzanian Ministry of Finance, and he previously worked as a hedge fund custodian in Ireland for a US financial services group, PNC.
Joseph holds degrees in business management from Dublin City University, Ireland and Reims Management School, France, and subsequently gained a Master’s degree in economic development from the University of Nottingham. Lacey McLean is a Manager on the Capital Markets team at Expedia, where she manages the Company’s global foreign currency exposure. Prior to Expedia, Lacey worked in accounting at Deloitte and PitchBook Data. Lacey earned her BA in Economics and Accounting at Claremont McKenna College and is a registered CPA in Washington State.
Larry Goldman is VP and Assistant Treasurer of Aecom. He has been with Aecom and legacy companies since 2008. Currently responsible for Capital Markets, managing banking relationships, Company’s surety program and project such as M&A due diligence. Larry is a 20+ year veteran in Corporate Treasury predominantly in the SF Bay Area. He has worked at several companies having been responsible for the broad spectrum of global treasury functions. Previously, he has spent over a decade in banking. He has an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Carnegie-Mellon.
Lenny has been in this role for the past 4 years working out of the Bell Labs location in Murray Hill, NJ. This includes managing trade finance and local cash management processes for the Americas Region. Prior to this role, Lenny has lived and worked in Paris, France and Hong Kong, China in various roles of Treasury, Trade and Export Finance, and Credit management.
Ms. Mandana Sadigh has been Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Mattel, Inc. since 2010. She is currently responsible for all aspects of global treasury operations, capital and investment policy, global insurance and risk management, and global real estate. Mandana has over 22 years of experience at Mattel in a variety of senior leadership roles, including VP/Assistant Controller (1999-2000), SVP of Corporate Strategy and M&A (2000-2003), SVP of International Finance and Strategy (2003-2005), and SVP of US Finance and Strategy (2005-2010). Prior to joining Mattel, Ms. Sadigh spent 8 years in the banking industry in Los Angeles. Ms. Sadigh serves as the chair of Mattel’s Administrative Committee, responsible for overseeing the company’s various retirement plans, health and welfare plans, as well as deferred compensations plan. She also serves as the chair of Mattel’s Political Action Committee (PAC) Advisory Board, and holds the position of the Treasurer of PAC. She is the President and Member of the Board of Directors of Far West Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Mattel, Inc. Mandana also serves on the board of directors of Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Sadigh holds a Bachelor degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Economics from the University of California in Santa Barbara.
Maria Reyes is Vice President, Global Treasury of Laureate Education, Inc. She is a seasoned Finance professional with over 20 years of experience and a strong track record of accomplishments in banking, corporate finance, risk management and global treasury operations. Mrs. Reyes joined Laureate in 2013 as Executive Director of Treasury. After being a driving force behind critical initiatives for Laureate, and leading the transformation of the Global Treasury function, implementing five regional treasury centers worldwide, she was promoted to Vice President, Global Treasury. Prior to Laureate, she worked at E*TRADE Financial for 13 years in roles of increased leadership responsibility, then she departed E*TRADE as Vice President, Treasury. Born and raised in Ecuador, she also acquired valuable experience working for Phillip Morris International- Quito-Ecuador. Mrs. Reyes holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, and a Minor in Economics. She is also a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and licensed with Series 99, FINRA.
Matt is responsible for leading Taulia’s marketing function, enabling Taulia to scale and grow through engaging with different audiences globally and helping businesses across the supply chain free up cash. Matthew has previously held a number of senior marketing roles including European Marketing Director Bottomline Technologies, Marketing Director, Software Capita plc. and Executive Marketing & PR Director CORGI Group. Matthew is a member of the Institute of Directors and holds an MBA from Henley Management School
Currently based in New York, Michael is an International Treasury Specialist with over 20 years experience. He has worked in New York, London, Vienna, Hong Kong, and Riyadh and has managed teams of treasury professionals covering Corporates, Financial Institutions, and Development Organizations. He has spent the bulk of his career delivering multi-product, multi-geography treasury solutions to clients. Michael held both senior management and individual contributor positions at Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of America, The Bank of New York, Al-Faddaghi Group, and Sony Corporation. He also holds a Masters degree in Foreign Service with Georgetown University.
Nichole has over twenty years of strategic treasury, finance, and accounting experience. In 2015 she joined Zendesk as Treasurer. Zendesk is a SaaS-based company providing products and services for better customer relationships. As Treasurer she is responsible for broad Treasury functions (Cash Management and Forecasting, Investments, Foreign Currency Risk Management, and Corporate Risk Management) and Collections. From 2006 – 2015 Nichole was Director of Consulting at Hedge Trackers advising clients on all matters of foreign currency risk in relation to ASC 815 (FAS 133) and ASC 830 (FAS 52). Prior to Hedge Trackers she was Assistant Treasurer at Macromedia. Nichole has an MBA (with Honors) from Santa Clara University and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Arizona. She is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
Ok Azie was the Vice President and Treasurer of Baker Hughes Incorporated. He joined Baker Hughes in 2012 as the Assistant Treasurer where he was responsible for Global Treasury Operations, Capital Markets and Corporate Finance. Prior to joining Baker Hughes, Ok was an Assistant Treasurer at American Waters from 2009 – 2012 and also an Assistant Treasurer at GrafTech from 2007 – 2009. Ok began his career in 1993 as an engineer and in 1998, joined Eaton Corporation, where he held positions in engineering, accounting and treasury. Ok holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from the University of Nigeria.

Regina Ochev is a Vice President and Assistant Treasurer at Prologis where she oversees management of company’s banking relationships, foreign exchange strategy, liquidity planning, global cash operations and investments. Regina has spent ten years at Prologis driving and transforming Treasury department as the company quadrupled its balance sheet, entered new markets and increased assets under management more than seven-fold. Prior to joining Prologis, Regina spent eight years in a variety of corporate treasury and risk management roles at International Paper Company, Hewlett Packard and Charles Schwab. Richard Lucero is Assistant Treasurer at Dolby Laboratories, Inc. Since joining Dolby in 2012, he has been responsible for Dolby’s Global Liquidity, Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets, FX, and Cash & Investment Management. Richard has nearly 20 years of Global Treasury experience primarily focused on FX risk, Investment management, debt issuance, stock repurchase and capital structure. Prior to Dolby, Richard held various finance roles for eBay, PayPal and Hewlett Packard. Bob has more than 30 years of corporate treasury experience in the roles of treasurer, credit director, finance manager and controller at BP America and Amoco Corporation. He has successfully managed post-acquisition integrations, technology upgrades and corporate restructurings. Currently, Bob is a partner with the Treasury Alliance Group, leveraging his corporate experience in client engagements dealing with global treasury, risk and crisis management; cash management and cash flow forecasting; working capital management; shared service operations and general management. He also shares his experiences by tutoring others in courses such as international cash and treasury management, corporate risk management and cash flow forecasting, as well as by chairing, moderating and speaking at treasury conferences worldwide.
Shan Anwar is Director and Head of eBay FX Risk Management. Prior to joining eBay, Shan was responsible for European Treasury solutions at Bloomberg in London. Shan was previously with the General Electric, where he managed derivative operations and accounting for GE’s $330 billion derivative notional and was also the Deputy Controller of Derivative Accounting for American International Group.
Stef Layne is the Treasurer and Chief of Staff to the CFO of Box, Inc. She joined Box in June 2014 and is responsible for all Treasury functions and many strategic projects across the G&A organization. She has led company-wide campaign coined #Yo!FCF to educate employees, drive $15M+ in incremental savings and raise awareness to achieving the Wall Street promise of reaching positive free cash flow in year 2 as a public company. Launched multi-currency credit card processing to enable 11 exotic currencies for online customer collections and while monitoring FX volatility and risk. Stef also led two debt refinancing rounds lowering interest expense, optimizing available capacity, and reducing restricted cash on the balance sheet. Stef is a 10+ year veteran in Treasury roles. Prior to Box, she spent 8+ years at PayPal / eBay in a variety of Finance roles. She has an undergraduate degree in Business Management lives in the South Bay with her husband and two sons.
Thomas founded the Liquidity Marketplace in 2017, prior tho which he has worked in Financial Services for 28 years in Operational, Technology and Business leadership roles in Transaction Banking at Citibank, J.P. Morgan and HSBC as well as for EBS’s electronic Interbank FX dealing platform. Thomas’ responsibilities have included balance sheet management of > $500Bn in liabilities, P&L of >$7Bn, organization > 450 employees as well as direct engagement with the regulatory community to shape the mechanics of Basel III related liquidity measures.
Victor Penna is a recognized industry leader in finance, treasury solutions and business process improvement with over 30 years finance and consulting experience. He has held Senior Executive roles in Corporate Finance, Transaction Banking, Management Consulting, Business Process Outsourcing and Treasury Consulting at Standard Chartered, J.P. Morgan, Citibank, and specialist consulting firms. Today Victor leads a global treasury advisory team for Standard Chartered comprising experienced ex treasurers and process engineers who have a core focus on delivering treasury transformation projects and best practice treasury advice, financial process improvement, and transaction banking solutions for global corporations leveraging the Bank’s leading position in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Over the past 18 months he and his team have focused heavily on the impact of digitization and emerging Fintech solutions on business and the role of Treasury. He has spoken to over 250 corporate clients from all industries on the topic and personally run workshops with many leading corporations to help define their digital strategies. Apart from his advisory role, Victor also has end to end responsibility for Standard Chartered’s Cash Management business covering clients based in Europe and the Americas. This includes sales, product, implementation, channels, and service. Prior to this role he was the Global Sales Head for corporate sales covering cash management, trade, supply chain finance, escrow, and transactional FX. Before joining Standard Chartered 5 years ago, Victor was Managing Director and Regional Head of J.P. Morgan’s treasury consulting team for Asia Pacific. He also led regional sales teams covering large Asian multinationals and non-bank financial institutions. During his career, he has personally advised many Fortune 500 clients on centralization structures such as Treasury Centers, In-House Banks, Payment Factories, Shared Service Centers, and Supply Chain Management Centers. He has also provided advice and solutions covering global liquidity management structures, regional cash management, financing structures, risk management, investment management, process reengineering, business process outsourcing. His industry experience extends across Oil & Gas, Mining & Resources, Petrochemicals, Power, Technology, Consumer Electronics, Airlines & Shipping, Automotive, Industrials, Insurance, Asset Management, Banks and the Public Sector. He is regular presenter at major industry conferences. Victor has a Bachelor of Business from Swinburne University of Technology and post-graduate diplomas in Financial Services and Corporate Finance.
Yves’ expertise lies at the intersection of data science, engineering and design, having led advanced analytics work across a wide range of domains such as F1, pharma, mining or FMCG. Yves holds a PhD from MIT in Systems Engineering and a M.Eng. and a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering from McGill University.
