Luc Bergé is the new President of the European Physical Society

After the EPS Council held online this month, Luc Bergé took over from Petra Rudolf as EPS President. He will serve the Society from April 2021 to April 2023.

EPS Distinctions 2020 & 2021

EPS Gero Thomas Medal: The European Physical Society awarded the EPS Gero Thomas Medal to Jozef T. Devreese (2020) and to Luisa Cifarelli (2021).

EPS Fellows 2021: The European Physical Society distinguished Angel Rubio (Spain) and Lucia Sorba (Italy) as EPS Fellows.

EPS Secretary General

The European Physical Society is looking for its next Secretary General to replace David Lee in 2023.
