On the Road
Stephen Rapundalo, PhD
President & CEO

It's been a very busy few weeks since my last update, mostly hunkered down here at the office working on a couple of strategic initiatives, including the statewide Bio-Industry Strategic Roadmap 2015 and a strategic retreat for the MichBio Board of Directors

Monday, February 23
2:30-3:30 p.m.

Join us for the inaugural Policy Call-In featuring Congressman Erik Paulsen (MN). The Call-In will cover the effort to repeal the medical device tax - led by Paulsen - and other relevant issues. MichBio will share concerns/views expressed during the Call-In with members of the Michigan Congressional delegation during the April BIO Fly-In. This event is exclusively for MichBio members. [Learn more and register.]

The decisions Congress makes impacts our industry, whether it is on the budget, patent reform, health-care, or tax policy.

Come join us in DC to help educate legislators from your state on the importance of the biotechnology industry to the future of our country. In the current political climate it is more important than ever to remind Members of Congress of the impact their decisions can have on protecting and growing the life sciences.

BIO's Legislative Briefing & Advocacy Training will give you a lay of the political landscape and empower you to speak on the biotech industry's behalf.

There is no registration fee to participate in the BIO Fly-In; individuals are responsible for travel and lodging costs.
