With the advent of inexpensive GPS recorders and improved accuracy, more general-use equipment is becoming available that tracks its own location. Equipment for mosquito control is no exception. Electric foggers are now available that record location as well as material use. This poster presents MMCD's evaluation of the accuracy of the built-in GPS in this equipment, and how the output has been integrated with MMCD's GIS system and used to meet reporting requirements for pesticide use. Other uses of GPS in MMCD's disease control monitoring will also be presented.
