Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium Annual Conference Call for PapersThis is a call for abstracts of presentations, panel discussions, posters or product demonstrations to be considered as part of the 15th Annual Conference of the Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium, October 3-5, 2005, in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Presentations are invited that address the broad subjects of interest to GIS and LIS practitioners. Click here to view Topics of interest for the conference. All GIS related presentations will be considered.
The objective of the conference is to provide GIS-related informational and educational opportunities for anyone in business, government, or education interested in geographic analysis.
The Sessions committee will select session presentations to represent a wide range of interests and levels of expertise. Selection will be based on the value of the proposed topic to the audience and the clarity of the abstract. Everyone submitting an abstract will be contacted by the Sessions committee.
Five types of presentations are available:
Abstracts must be limited to no more than 300 words, and must include: presentation title, type of presentation requested, and author information including complete contact information. Incomplete abstracts will not be accepted. Remember, a clear concise abstract is your best ticket to a logical track placement and a well-attended session.
The submission deadline for all presentation types is May 20, 2005.
To submit an abstract for a presentation, panel discussion, poster or product demonstration, please fill in the abstract application located here.
