Certified in an Even Year?

If you were CHAM- or CHAA-certified in an even year, your recertification is due this year. All CHAAs recertify in April and all CHAMs recertify in June, regardless of testing month. To check your expiration date and to log your contact hours, sign onto the NAHAM website, and visit Certification Central. For more information on certification maintenance, visit the NAHAM website, hover over “Certification,” and click “Renew Your Certification.”

  • CHAA Recertification period: April 1-30, 2018
  • CHAM Recertification period: June 1-30, 2018
