Congratulations to Jessica Zlomke, who became a Certified Healthcare Access Associate this spring! Jessica works in admissions at Montrose Memorial Hospital in Colorado. To prepare for the CHAA exam, Jessica spent hours studying and taking pre-exams. She also got advice from her peers who became certified in 2016.
Since earning the CHAA designation, Jessica feels confident in her abilities to incorporate NAHAM online tools and education sources into the day-to-day functions at her facility. When asked for advice for those thinking about earning certification, Jessica replied, “STUDY! The certification is challenging, yet rewarding. In the short time I have had the privilege of being a NAHAM member I have grown and am able to offer our team new ideas and process improvements."
