Greetings Northeast Region Members!

The last few months have been an unprecedented time in our history. I hope everyone is safe and healthy! The COVID-19 pandemic is having a huge influence on our lives today.

Get certified with your CHAA or CHAM through NAHAM. It is a wonderful way of enhancing your skills and showing your facility your knowledge. Please let me know if you have any questions, or need a proctor for certification.

Congratulations to all that have recently passed the CHAM and CHAA exams!! Welcome all new Members to the NAHAM family!

Have you checked out the NAHAM website lately? New tools and information are at your touch. The NAHAM online experience is a great way to receive an education on the revenue cycle, learn the future of our profession, and to help maintain your NAHAM certification. In September NAHAM is having a virtual conference that members will have the opportunity to earn up to 16 NAHAM-approved contact hours. The conference will have multiple workshops focused on leadership, innovative practices, price structure, and lessons from COVID-19. The Learning Labs are a great way to help you maintain your CHAA or CHAM certification. Register on the NAHAM website today for a wonderful experience!

The NAHAM Online Experience

The  NAHAM Online Experience  offers you the unique opportunity to explore timely education topics, originally scheduled to take place at our 46th Annual Conference, in an all new virtual format! This event runs for four weeks, starting Wednesday, September 9 and lasting until Wednesday, September 30. Though we are not meeting in-person, the NAHAM Online Experience has a lot to offer:

• Earn up to 16 NAHAM-approved contact hours when you attend all  Learning Lab  sessions every Wednesday throughout the month of September.
• Education topics that are relevant to your "new normal" such as managing a remote workforce, changing tone of Patient Access, lessons from COVID-19, and maintaining staff engagement.
• This new format allows you the flexibility to attend sessions in an environment that is safe and convenient for you.
• If you aren't able to attend a Learning Lab while it is being presented live, the sessions will be recorded and available for on-demand viewing.
• With no travel or living expenses, the Online Experience gives you the opportunity to share NAHAM education with more of your team members.
