More than 1,000 attendees at last week's 2011 Print Solutions Conference and Expo in Chicago experienced a variety of educational sessions to help them implement new strategies and transform their businesses. Partnerships and sales leads were made through the face-to-face networking opportunities. PSDA welcomed new faces and companies and were excited to see many returning visitors.

PSDA would like to thank all participants in this year's Print Excellence and Knowledge (PEAK) Awards competition. The PEAK Awards acknowledge the print industry's best in supporting customer needs and providing outstanding value-added products and services through creativity in design, production, fulfillment and other services. All winning entries were on display in the PEAK Awards booth at the 2011 Print Solutions Conference and Expo. Winners were also honored at a general session where representatives of winning companies received their prestigious PEAK Awards.

Claudia St. John of Affinity HR Group LLC joined PSDA at the 2011 Print Solutions Conference and Expo last week, sharing her expertise with conference attendees in three sessions including Becoming a High-Performing Customer Service Team. Before the conference, PSDA members attending her sessions were able to take a DISC assessment, which is used to analyze personal employee behaviors and conflicts in the workplace. Normally retailing for around $200, the DISC assessment is offered to PSDA members for only $55 until the end of May. Last week at the 2011 Print Solutions Conference and Expo, Kent Walker of the Total Training Network (TTN) explained the benefits of TTN's partnership to PSDA conference attendees. Spending the majority of his time introducing the educational program to members visiting the PSDA booth, Walker explained how TTN created a cost-effective, professional development learning course specifically designed for PSDA and its members. Be recognized as an industry leader in Print Solutions, the official magazine of PSDA.
