Get Ideas That Will Build Your Business at Small Distributor Summit

Make sure you're in Pittsburgh Sept. 16 – 18 so you can work with your peers to identify ways to make your business stronger. The Small Distributor Summit is the only place you can talk with colleagues from companies with under $2.5 million in annual sales about topics including:

  • Defining growth — Learn how to think about growth in the short term as well as the long term. Take meaningful steps toward accelerating growth through pricing strategies andrelationship building with an eye on the future.
  • Green printing: Fact vs. Myth — Learn what steps, large and small, your organization can take to meet the growing demand of the end user in the green movement and how to buy and think locally. Arm yourself with the knowledge to share the positive points of print with your customers.
  • Selling direct mail — Get a fresh perspective on direct mail so you can bring best practices to your clients.
  • New products and technologies — Effective sales meetings depend not only on explaining ROI and end results, but also the technology behind the tools. Learn how to build better partnerships with manufacturers to improve your sales approach.
  • Rebranding your company — Hear from an expert in the branding world and your small-distributor peers about how to make the leap from "transactional vendor" to "valued partner."
  • HR challenges — This roundtable allows attendees to gain insights from fellow distributors about HR issues with an expert facilitator on hand for guidance.

Still not sure? Bob Howell, owner of Howell Print Co. is:
"Last year I recorded 11 different things I felt would help my business grow or help me get more organized in order to grow. This doesn't even count the different ‘new’ products and vendors I got from discussions with [PSDA] members. I have installed them all... This, I truly believe, has been the key to my surviving through these tough times."

Distributors: One Week Left to Become a Recognized Industry Leader in Print Solutions Magazine

There's only one week left to participate in the 2011 "Top Distributors" survey, the results of which will be published in the August 2011 issue of Print Solutions. The only way to potentially be featured in our influential, comprehensive and popular "Top Distributors" coverage is to respond to this short survey by Thursday, June 30, 2011.

To complete this survey, you'll need your organization's total sales figures for your 2009 and 2010 fiscal years. In addition, take the time to share your insights on the survey's final page regarding your past year in business and the year ahead. Your responses to these open-ended queries may help your company to be featured in additional coverage in this issue (and/or a future issue) of Print Solutions.

Don't delay: Access and complete the survey by Thursday, June 30, 2011.
