Distributors: One Week Left to Become a Recognized Industry Leader in Print Solutions Magazine

There's only one week left to participate in the 2011 "Top Distributors" survey, the results of which will be published in the August 2011 issue of Print Solutions. The only way to potentially be featured in our influential, comprehensive and popular "Top Distributors" coverage is to respond to this short survey by Thursday, June 30, 2011.

To complete this survey, you'll need your organization's total sales figures for your 2009 and 2010 fiscal years. In addition, take the time to share your insights on the survey's final page regarding your past year in business and the year ahead. Your responses to these open-ended queries may help your company to be featured in additional coverage in this issue (and/or a future issue) of Print Solutions.

PSDA Staff Profile: Meet Kristin Sutherland

Get to know members of your association staff in selected editions of the Print Solutions e-newsletter. This week, we feature Kristin Sutherland.

What is your role on the PSDA staff team?
I work in the Education and Learning Services department and am responsible for helping to develop the educational material for our events. I am responsible for speaker recruitment and serve as the speakers' point of contact.

Please describe the background and experiences that you are bringing to your role with PSDA.
I have worked in speaker management and have helped to develop educational sessions for more than four years. I've managed speakers with backgrounds ranging from technology to research professionals to nonprofit management. My background has helped me to understand what will make experiences valuable for speakers and attendees. I'm looking forward to bringing this expertise to my work with PSDA.

As a new member of the PSDA staff team, what are you hoping to accomplish?
I'm looking forward to developing PSDA's education strategy and program overall.

What is one "fun fact" or surprising piece of information about you?
I'm a huge Chicago Cubs fan and enjoy attending and scoring their games. I have scored every game for the last three years!

SAGE® Announces SAGE Mobile™ for iPhone and iPad

PSDA member SAGE recently released SAGE Mobile™ for iPhone/iPad, the industry’s first native Apple iOS app with full product and supplier research. SAGE Mobile for iPhone/iPad allows distributors to search for products, view full product details and images, flip through supplier catalogs, view supplier information and manage tradeshows. Plus, the app integrates with SAGE Online to provide on-the-go access to the Project Center, Client Address Book, Order Management and Tradeshows areas. Products can even be added to the Project Center from the road, then accessed back at the office with SAGE Online. The app also integrates with SAGE Online’s Order Management area to provide on-the-go access to orders. Its Tradeshows area provides the ability to access and manage your tradeshow walk lists, including tagging suppliers and adding memos as you walk the show. There is also a "client safe" mode that hides confidential information.

Relyco Offers the Industry's Most Affordable MICR Laser Printer

Relyco, PSDA member and provider of value-added business printing and payment solutions, recently released the Relyco RS-ML-3712ND-MICR mono laser printer powered by Samsung, the industry's most affordable network MICR laser printer starting at $449. At speeds up to 37 pages per minute (PPM) with an 80,000-page monthly duty cycle and an average cost per page of $0.03, Relyco is enabling companies to cost-effectively and efficiently print checks in-house. It meets ANSI X9.27 standards for E-13B font and produces bank-compliant check printing. Engineered to work with Relyco approved MICR toner, laser check printing software and secure check stock, the RS-ML-3712ND-MICR performs to exacting standards. A 600MHz processor and standard 128MB onboard memory minimizes bottlenecks at the printer. A locking tray option is available to meet security requirements.

Mohawk Superfine and proPhoto featured in Blurb’s new ProLine Photobooks

Mohawk Fine Papers Inc. recently announced that Blurb, the global creative publishing platform, has launched ProLine, featuring Mohawk Superfine and Mohawk proPhoto papers. In addition to the Mohawk papers, ProLine comprises a selection of two fine, new linen hardcovers in oatmeal and charcoal, plus a choice of five heavyweight end sheets in charcoal grey, dove grey, warm grey, black and white.
