The DFS Group to Discuss New Mobile Technology at Small Distributor Summit

More and more customers with traditional print pieces are asking for PDFs and electronic sharing options. Examine the DFS Group's case studies centered around their new product, SmartPaper℠, in Taking on New Products and Technologies: Increasing Your Online Visibility presented by John Crocker of The DFS Group at the Small Distributor Summit, Sept. 16–18 in Pittsburgh.

"Distributors need to have their online tools be search engine friendly, easy to use and have a multi-channel reach," Crocker said. "And with the variety of mobile devices people use daily, the ability for a product to identify the device it is displaying on and share content in the appropriate format is ahead of the curve."

The DFS Group will share the back story of why SmartPaper℠ was developed, the benefits the new technology is bringing to distributors and how the end customer can see the value on their side.

Read more about the Small Distributor Summit and register today. If you're arriving early Friday, be sure to sign up for the Datatel plant tour; space is limited.

3DPhotoWorks Introduces 3D Photographic Printing

3DPhotoWorks, creator of full-color 3D Photographic Prints, launched its flagship product—an original three-dimensional bas-relief photographic display graphic created with the company's custom-made printing process. Using any 2D image, 3DPhotoWorks display graphics are produced through a multi-step process using a proprietary technology developed by its staff of 3-D designers, technicians and engineers. 3D Photographic displays are a hybrid product: part photographic, in which they capture accurate color and life-like features, and part artisan relief sculpture, in that they rise from the background to meet the viewer.
