The Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium

The objective of the conference is to provide GIS-related informational and educational opportunities for anyone in business, government, or education interested in geographic analysis. The program committee will select presentations that represent a wide range of interest and levels of expertise.

Presentations, titles, and abstracts of 150 - 300 words are due July 1, 2001. Individual presentations will be allotted 25 minutes. Panel discussions will have 90 minutes. Each poster display area is 4' x 8'. The abstracts will be included in the printed proceedings. Selection will be based on the value of the proposed topic to the audience and the clarity of the abstract. Everyone submitting an abstract will be contacted by the conference committee. The project demonstrations will allow presenters to set up a computer demonstration of a GIS project or applications.

Presentations which market specific products or services will not be accepted. Promotional products or services are welcome in the exhibitor hall.
