The Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium will hold its 12^th state wide conference on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Land Information Systems (LIS) at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center on October 2-4, 2002 in Duluth, Minnesota. The conference is preceded by full and half-day workshops on October 2. Those who attend workshops may select from general and introductory GIS/LIS workshops or more technical areas of GIS/LIS applications and research.  

The opening plenary session on Thursday morning, October 3, will be followed by concurrent sessions throughout the day with presenters covering a wide variety of topics. The exhibitors hall opens on Thursday and will feature up to forty vendors exhibiting the latest in GIS-related technology and services.
